Polish logistics company Langowski Logistics has opened a transhipment yard dedicated to abnormal cargoes at the Bulgarian Quay Area in the port of Gdynia, Poland.
The yard is in close proximity to the company’s warehouse as well as the Baltic Container Terminal (BCT) and Gdynia Container Terminal (GCT). It has a total area of 8,000 sq m and will soon include a 3,000 sq m storage tent.
The decision to open a cargo handling yard in Gdynia is driven by the growing demand for logistics services in the region, said Langowski, which added that its yard will be crucial for the efficient handling of cargo entering or leaving the port.
Langowski is a member of the XLProjects (XLP) network.
