March 12 - Maritime classification society the Korean Register of Shipping (KR) has launched its new mobile app - SMART Fleet.
The new app delivers up-to-the-minute information on vessels, fleets, surveys, audits and port state control, according to KR.
The app is available on Android and iOS platforms.
Last week, HLPFI reported that KR opened its brand new education and training centre dedicated to shipping and shipbuilding professionals in Busan, South Korea (http://tinyurl.com/bsob4ru).
