December 08 - Ron Porter, VP Global Transportation, Logistics Compliance and Commodity Management, Aker Solutions, will deliver the keynote address at next year's JOC Breakbulk Asia Transportation Conference & Exhibition in Singapore.
Ron Porter, Vice President, Global Transportation, Logistics Compliance and Commodity Management, Aker Solutions, will be the keynote speaker at the first Breakbulk Asia Transportation Conference & Exhibition taking place February 17 & 18 at the Suntec Conference and Exhibition Centre in Singapore.
Mr Porter will present "The Outlook for Breakbulk Cargo in Asia" on the first day of this highly anticipated inaugural event.
As a Vice President of one of the world's largest industrial and construction organizations, Aker Solutions, Porter is responsible for logistics operations supporting worldwide construction projects in upstream and downstream oil and gas production, both offshore and onshore, power generation, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, mining, and pulping.
Porter's professional career includes 36-plus years with such companies as United Transport, TNT, Santos Ltd, McGlashans Transport, and Worldwide Procurement Services, where he has held positions in Australia and Texas including owner, transportation manager, procurement manager, and project manager.
Porter's professional associations have included memberships in The Chartered Institute of Transport, the Logistics Management Association of Australia, the International Cargo Handling Coordination Association, and the National Association of Purchasing Agents.
