June 29 - Jumbo's heavy lift ship Jumbo Kinetic has made its maiden call at the Broekman Breakbulk terminal in Rotterdam.
Jumbo Kinetic, which was delivered to Jumbo in 2014 following a lengthy dispute with Croatia's Brodosplit shipyard, set a record last year by lifting almost 3,000 tonnes with its two 1,500-tonne capacity cranes during a test lift in China.
Jumbo and Broekman Logistics have a well-established relationship, with Broekman claiming that it loads two Jumbo ships each month with various project cargo, including gas turbines and generators weighing in between 300 and 400 tonnes.
