February 8 - Mumbai based crane contractor JNK Lifters has taken delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 mobile crane at Bauma Conexpo India.
The LTM 1250-5.1, which has a 36 m folding jib and a 46 m fixed lattice jib, will be used for tower crane assembly, maintenance work in the petrochemicals industry, support work for wind turbine erections and underground railway construction.
Jayantilal Gala, director of JNK Lifters, said: "The new LTM 1250-5.1 is an extremely versatile crane. It has an enormous lifting capacity and can tackle many of the crane jobs in the petrochemicals and steel fabrication sectors normally reserved for cranes in the 300-tonne class. Innovations such as VarioBase, VarioBallast, ECOmode and very long lattice jibs give us a major advantage over our competitors."
According to the crane manufacturer, the LTM 1250-5.1 is the first Liebherr crane that JNK has bought.
