November 19 - The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) has named Rick Schiappacasse as its new director of Latin America sales.
Schiappacasse (pictured) has more than 35 years of industry experience, having served as director of Latin America and the Caribbean at Maryland Port Administration, as well as holding positions with Maersk and Mediterranean Shipping Company.
In his new role at JAXPORT, Schiappacasse will be responsible for strengthening relationships and attracting new cargo business between North Florida and Latin America.
