October 27 - North Florida Warehouse FTZ, a division of JZ Expedited Logistics, has been granted permission to operate the Port of Jacksonville's (Jaxport) Foreign Trade Zone No. 64's first outdoor storage facility.
The 3.7 acre (1.5 ha) facility offers short and long-term outdoor storage options for a variety of cargo including vehicles, high and heavy cargoes, tracked units, project and over-dimensional cargo, containers, and breakbulk, says Jaxport.
North Florida Warehouse FTZ says the facility offers customers flexible storage terms, plus 24/7 access to their cargo utilising the latest security technology.
The facility is adjacent to the company's 32,000 sq ft (2,972.9 sq m) north Jacksonville warehouse, which also operates within Foreign Trade Zone No. 64.
