April 9 - Yacht Exports has transported a 13.6-tonne and 15.5 m long yacht, Cranchi Atlantique, from Italy to Peru.
The yacht was lifted onto the carrier using the company's own loading equipment, cradled and fastened securely, before being successfully delivered on a direct sailing from Livorno to Callao - one of a number of weekly sailings available at Yacht Exports.
Yacht Exports also handed the logistics services required for the job, including the road transport of the disassembled boat shipping cradle from the UK to to the port of Livorno, the assembly of the bespoke cradle at the port, captain services and boat shipping insurance.
This is the first time a US-based boat transport company has handled the shipment of a yacht from Italy to Peru, claims Yacht Exports.
