April 7 - Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) has expanded its operations in Africa with the opening of a new office in Maputo, Mozambique.
The first project undertaken by ISS Mozambique, which provides coverage across all of the country's main ports, was to act as as port agent in Maputo for a Gasoil discharger.
Services on offer at ISS' new facility in Mozambique include port agency, liner agency, vessel husbandry, Customs clearance, freight forwarding, and project logistics for the offshore oil and gas sector.
A team of eight will be headed up by general manager, Raymond Prinsloo, reporting directly to Kenya-based executive vice president for ISS Africa, David Mackay, who has spearheaded the new venture in Mozambique.
