March 14 - Intermarine LLC's new Operations Centre at Industrial Terminal, the company's breakbulk terminal on the Houston Ship Channel, is now officially open housing Intermarine's entire technical, operations, traffic and terminal teams.
The Operations Centre is a five story, 13,311 sq ft building, close to the Houston Ship Channel and houses a customer centre with floor to ceiling windows and premium audio visual equipment from where customers will have sight lines to all of the main docks.
Al Stanley, president and ceo said: "This new Operations Centre enables us to continue our plan of growth and expansion, but more importantly it gets all our operations, technical, port captain and traffic teams together in one location. Bringing these groups closer to our client's cargo makes all of our processes more efficient. We are quicker to react, if needed, and able to give real time updates as to the activities at Industrial Terminal. The Center reinforces our commitment to providing our teams with the best resources to meet our customers' needs."
