July 25 - Universal Transport has delivered equipment destined for an iron ore mining project in Australia.
The Paderborn-based specialised transport provider used a range of trailers to move the loads, the largest of which measured 22.5 m x 5.05 m x 3 m and weighed 140 tonnes, to a nearby inland waterway system where they were transshiped onto a waiting barge.
The consignment was then delivered to Bremerhaven port where the goods were rolled onto a waiting vessel for oncarriage to Australia.
