October 23 - Iberian Offshore and Metalmecanicas Herjimar have fabricated and installed a temporary support system on Intermarine's heavy lift vessel Industrial Dolphin, for the transport of two jackets and six piles, destined for the Siemens offshore win
The piles were fabricated by Windar in Aviles, Spain, while the jackets were manufactured by Navantia in Fene, Spain.
Iberian Offshore and Metalmecanicas Herjimar took two days to complete the works, which temporarily strengthened the deck of the vessel, at the Port of Aviles.
Iberian Offshore is a structural engineering firm specialised in the marine and offshore sectors.
Metalmecanicas Herjimar specialises in the fabrication of metal structures for a variety of industries including naval construction projects, maintenance and repair, ancillary services, as well as port and other maritime construction.
