July 12 - Singapore based Huationg Inland Transport has used 16 axle lines of Scheuerle-Kamag K25 H modules to move the operational vessel Hisyam 6 to the quayside in Malaysia.
The vessel, which measures 41 m long by 8 m wide and weighs 125 tonnes, is being deployed in the Straits of Malacca. In order to get there, it had to be moved 800 m from its dry dock to the water's edge.
"The K 25 H SP is ideal for the transport of vessels of all types, as well as being very suitable for moving much heavier loads," claimed Jannick Mathieu, area manager, sales at TII Sales.
"Due to the extremely precise axle compensation of hydraulic pendulum axles, the sensitive control via remote control and the unmatched reliability, the vehicle is highly rated and popular at numerous shipyards around the world."
As well as the transport combination of Scheuerle-Kamag K25 H self-propelled modules and conventional non-driven K25 H modules, the Singaporean company used five load distribution devices to position the hull.
