February 16 - Holleman Bulgaria has transported three engine shafts from Romania to Germany.
The shafts, two of which weighed 88 tonnes and the third weighed 67 tonnes, were loaded in Bucharest, Romania and transported to the Port of Ruse, Bulgaria.
From there the heavy pieces were transshipped by a floating crane onto a river vessel for further transport to the Port of Deggendorf, Germany where a second transshipment will happen.
Holleman Bulgaria was responsible for preparing the Romanian transport projects, arranging the police escort as well as icebreakers for the transport along the River Danube.
From the Port of Deggendorf, the shafts will be transported overland by trucks to the Port of Bremerhaven from where they will be transported to China and Australia.
