July 18 - Holleman Bulgaria O.O.D., a Bulgarian member of the Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) network, has completed a trio of heavy projects.
The company recently transported three transformers on behalf of Energo Pro Bulgaria for substations located in Varna South, Varna East and Beliko Tarnovo. Two 92.75 tonne transformers measuring 6.68 m x 5.58 m x 4.09 m, and a smaller 83.75 tonne unit with dimensions of 6.68 m x 3.58 m x 4.09 m were delivered to the three project sites.
Holleman was tasked with discharging the transformers in Port Ruse East and delivering each one to their final destinations. Together with specialists from Holleman Heavy Lift & Industrial Mounting, the transformers were safely transported and positioned on their foundations at the respective substations.
Four transformers measuring 6.25 m x 2.85 x 4.11 m and weighing 71.4 tonnes each were loaded in Sofia for transport to Port Belene, Bulgaria. A 250-tonne crane was deployed at the Bulgarian port to transship the transformers onto a river vessel.
Finally, a consignment made up of two cases each weighing 92 tonnes with dimensions of 18.3 m x 4.4 m x 4 m was shipped from Port Varna West to Lukoil Burgas in Bulgaria.
