April 18 - Hitachi Sumitomo Heavy Industries Construction Crane (HSC) debuted its 350-tonne capacity SCX3500-3 crawler crane at the bauma show in Munich.
With a maximum lifting capacity of 350 tonnes and boom length of 18 m, Hitachi noted that the model also has a new cleaner engine in line with Tier 4 emissions regulations and an energy-efficient eco mode.
The hydraulic crawler crane also features a compact body, good handling capabilities and an advanced transportation and assembly system, said Hitachi.
The new machine is being delivered to UK based crawler crane hire company Weldex.
