September 9 - Van der Vlist has transported a 410-tonne regenerator and a 275-tonne reactor from Deggendorf, Germany to Kazakhstan via its terminal in Moerdijk, the Netherlands.
The barge, Stark, was used to transport both of the units along the Danube river to Van der Vlist's Moerdijk terminal, where the cargo was loaded onto BigLift Shipping's vessel Happy Dynamic.
From Moerdijk, the regenerator, which measured 29.1 m x 8.24 m x 8.3 m, and the reactor, which had the dimensions 32 m x 7.5 m x 7 m, were shipped to St Petersburg, before being delivered to Kazakhstan using a pontoon.
