January 21 - The arrival of a vessel with a heavy delivery for the Bayswater power station marked the completion of the multi-million dollar refurbishment of a berth at the former BHP steelworks site in Newcastle harbour, Australia.
At Mayfield No.4 berth, two 250 tonne transformers were from Scan Trans vessel Victoria Scan using the ship's own cranes then transported to Bayswater. The shipment marked the commissioning of the refurbished former iron ore berth which expands the capability of the port to handle a variety of cargo.
