July 6 - The Global Project Logistics Network (GPLN) has introduced several more member offices, writes Alice Davidson.
The first of the new members is Red Transport International. The company, with offices in the Netherlands and Nigeria, is a project logistics specialist and ships agency which focuses on the oil and gas mining industries in West Africa. Its project activities are mainly in Nigeria and Ghana, but the group operates its own offices in more than 20 locations in Africa
Also joining GPLN recently is Vee Ess Shipping and Logistics FZE, which is based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
The final addition to GPLN, based in Takoradi, Ghana, is Supermaritime Ghana Ltd. Supermaritime is an international group of shipping companies, offering a comprehensive range of ship and cargo related services in Africa, Latin America and Europe. Its 27 offices in 15 countries have extensive and local ships agency experience with all types of vessels and trades.
The GPLN is a non-exclusive professional projects logistics network of independent companies specialising in international projects movements by air, sea and land as well as specialised lifts and the special handling of oversized, out-of-gauge and heavy lift cargoes.
