Cometto has delivered 108 axle lines of MGSL heavy-duty modules to Turkey’s Hareket Heavy Lifting & Project Transportation.
The order comprises 11 six-axle modules, 8 four-axle modules and two split modules.
According to Cometto, the equipment will be used for two projects in Uzbekistan: the 900 MW Turakurgan combined cycle power plant project and the 450 MW Navoi-2 combined heat and power plant project.
For the projects, Hareket will transport 67 heavy units from Kazakhstan to the respective project sites.
Launched in October last year, Cometto’s MGSL heavy-duty modular vehicle range is designed for public roads, off-road transport as well as for inside plant operations.
A strengthened loading area means the modular axle lines feature a payload capacity of 50 tonnes per axle line above the wheel arches, and 80 tonnes above cross members for heavy and concentrated loads.
