December 10 - Hanssy Shipping has transported a gantry crane from China to India where it will be installed in the Pipavav Shipyard which is currently under construction.
The gantry crane will be one of the most powerful items of hoisting equipment in India with a capacity of 600 tonnes.
On completion, PSL's integrated shipbuilding facility will be one of the largest in India and among the largest in Asia.
The gantry crane was carried by Hanssy's vessel, King Success, which has a single derrick capable of lifting cargoes up to 380 tonnes in weight.
