The ship remained at a 45 degree list while it was towed to Spitbank, just inside Portsmouth Harbour. The tow was executed by Svitzer in cooperation with the salvors.
Queen's Harbour Master Portsmouth has established a temporary exclusion zone of 300 m around the vessel.
The vessel is currently undergoing a full assessment of her condition. The UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) said that disruption to the Port of Southampton is minimal, but there will a slight restriction in traffic movements until Höegh Osaka is clear of the main channel.
