Höegh said the FSRUs are based on the shipping line's in-house design, providing 170,000 m3 storage capacity as well as flexible regas capacity. The line says it has a proven track record in the provision of floating regasification solutions to the LNG market.
"Our new built FSRUs offer customers the earliest possible delivery positions, a purpose built design and the most energy and cost efficient solution for their market," said Höegh LNG's president and CEO, Sveinung J. Støhle.
Höegh LNG is a shipping and LNG service provider offering long-term floating production, transportation, re-gasification and terminal solutions. The company operates a fleet of seven LNG carriers including two innovative Shuttle and Re-gasification Vessels (SRVs).
