November 11 - CaytransBBC, a service managed by New Orleans-based Dan-Gulf shipping, has commenced regular sailings of breakbulk vessels from the US Gulf to Venezuela and Trinidad & Tobago, twice a month.
The service will load out of Care Terminals in Houston and Alabama State Docks in Mobile and discharge in Guanta and Maracaibo in Venezuela as well as Port Lisas in Trinidad. Other load and discharge ports can be called on inducement basis.
"We are pleased to offer this service expansion to Trinidad due to the strong demand we encounter from international shippers that are involved inlocal oil and gas projects," says Niels Busse, president of Dan-Gulf Shipping.
