Grimaldi Shipping Agency Shanghai has inaugurated its new offices in Sinar Mas Plaza.
The agency was established last year with the aim of assisting Grimaldi Group customers and is composed of 15 people, directed by general manager Francesco Zhou. It represents Grimaldi in China, with a special focus on relations with local vehicle manufacturers.
The group currently connects China to the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and West Africa with regular calls in the ports of Shanghai and Tianjin, while also serving the ports of Yantai, Lianyungang and Xiamen.
Demand from the main vehicle manufacturers in China has been growing and in response Grimaldi has been deploying its modern ships on regular connections to and from the Far East since 2022.
