The maritime organisations will work together to manage an education-focused communications programme, coordinate important research initiatives, and serve as a key resource for media and others, by providing facts and information about marine transportation on the Great Lakes.
A new website - www.greatlakesseaway.org - has been launched which features sections dedicated to three key areas of focus: economy, environment and safety, as well as facts and figures about the eight Great Lakes states and two Canadian provinces.
