More than 140 delegates from the Global Project Logistics Network (GPLN) gathered at the Hilton Hotel in Rotterdam over the weekend for the network’s annual general meeting (AGM).
Members from over 60 different countries came together after the Breakbulk Europe exhibition, which also took place in Rotterdam.
GPLN said: “This number of attendees is excellent result considering the Covid-19 situation and absence of our delegates from China, Russia, Belarus etc.”
The network’s annual photo competition was won by the Netherlands-based Best Global Logistics. The image showed the transport of the largest of several modules moved from China to Singapore, which stood approximately 34 m tall and weighed 900 tonnes.
Best Global will get free admission to GLPN’s next AGM, which will once again take place around the Breakbulk Europe event that is scheduled for June 6-8, 2023.
