December 14 - Gold Star Consulting has completed the shipment of 139 units of mining equipment from factories in Estonia and Finland to St Petersburg, Russia.
The equipment was loaded in Tallinn, Estonia and Outokumpu, Finland before being transported to a bonded warehouse space in St Petersburg.
In total, Gold Star managing director Igor Luostarinen explained that the company loaded 49 trucks for the project, 24 of which comprised out-of-gauge cargo.
He noted that the delivery of 26 m long metal structures from the factory in Tallinn's old city to the port was particularly challenging.
The scope of Gold Star's work included cargo transportation from the production facilities to respective ports, as well as shipment to Russia and export Customs clearance.
Gold Star Consulting is a member of the Project Cargo Network (PCN) in Finland.
