April 9 - Globalink's airfreight division has handled the transportation of three helicopters from their manufacturing site in Donauw
Since there were no direct flights from Luxembourg to Astana, Globalink applied for and obtained permission from the aviation authorities to divert one of the regular flights from Luxembourg to Almaty via Astana. This meant that the aircraft did not have to make a stopover and valuable time was saved, said Globalink.
The cargo, all of which had been disassembled, was loaded onto skids and deck pallets at the factory in Germany, before being transported by road to Luxembourg and loaded onboard the flight to Astana.
Upon arrival in Kazakhstan, the cargo was unloaded, cleared and delivered to its final destination.
