June 25 - All eyes will be on a crate at the world famous Goodwood Festival of Speed motoring event in the UK tomorrow.
Transported to the festival by GBA Services on behalf of Lotus cars, the crate is said to container a 'rare beast'.
Carried by truck to the Goodwood Estate in Southern England, the crate passed some of the London's best known landmarks on route from Lotus Cars' production facility in Norfolk.
Now that the crate is safely inside the Goodwood estate, the beast within will have to remain docile until tomorrow morning, when the doors will be opened and the public gets the first chance to view it for themselves.
Jean-Marc Gales, chief executive officer for Group Lotus plc, commented: 'We build world-class, high-performance sports cars, and so truly understand the need for specialist knowledge and skill. When it came to entrusting this precious cargo to a logistics company, GBA services was the obvious choice.'
David Birkbeck, Managing Director of GBA Services commented: "As a long standing supplier to Lotus Cars and the automotive industry as a whole, we're pleased to have played a part in transporting such an exciting cargo."
