August 1 - GAC Brazil has continued its regional expansion with the opening of a ninth office in Brazil at São Luis.
Situated on São Marcos Bay, the new office is GAC's first in the northern part of the country and will serve two major ports in the area - Ponta da Madeira (PDM) and Porto do Itaqui - as well as the Port of Alumar.
"The São Luis office will allow us to better serve customers in the north with our range of shipping, freight forwarding and project logistics services. We also aim to tap into new local and overseas business opportunities," says Rodrigo De Marco, managing director of GAC Brazil.
GAC serves the Brazilian shipping and logistics markets from its headquarters in São Paulo, and, with the addition of São Luis, eight branch offices in Angra dos Reis, Macae, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Santos, Port Açu, and Vitória.
