February 24 - The Project Cargo Network (PCN) now has its second member in France with the addition of France Cargo International (FCI), which have been specialising in heavy lift and project cargo for over 20 years.
FCI is a member of FFOCT (Federation Francaise des Organisateurs et Commissionnaires de Transport) and TLF(Federation des entreprises de Transport et Logistique de France).
Managing director of FCI, Denis Mandil says: "FCI specialises in shipping oversize and heavy lift cargo up to job site - have a look at the 'We Can Do It' section of our website, which shows some heavy pieces and projects we have handled over the world."
Mr Mandil adds: "We are five km from Port Autonome de Paris, which is a sea and road shipping centre with container parks, customs clearance facilities and possibilities to ship cargo and containers via the River Seine. All this north west area is a big industrial and trade zone just close to Paris city and opened to Le Havre and to the north European sea ports. This makes our location an easy place to ship containers and cargo to european seaports to Le Havre - Antwerp - Rotterdam - Hamburg."
