With the rebranding, the operation in Hong Kong will be known as Barloworld Logistics (Hong Kong) Ltd, whereas, the Shanghai operation will be Barloworld Logistics (Shanghai) Ltd with Guangzhou as a branch.
In 2008, Barloworld Logistics, a part of the South African Barloworld group, acquired several businesses in the Middle East and the Far East to strategically position itself on the world's leading East-West trade flow.
Under its new branding, Barloworld Logistics (Hong Kong) and Barloworld Logistics (Shanghai) will continue to offer freight management and services such as project cargo and event management customs clearance, export documentation, air freight, sea freight, warehousing, local transport, demand planning and inventory management, said Deon Heyns, managing director for the Barloworld Logistics Far East operations ).
