January 12 - The ISO-accredited Certificate of Achievement in Project Cargo Management course is being held in Johannesburg from February 16-17 and in Shanghai from March 17-18.
The South African course is being held in conjunction with the Breakbulk Africa Congress, while the Shanghai course will take place during Breakbulk China 2015.
"The start of a new year is very timely for businesses and their employees to map out a programme that meets their project logistics and specialised transport training needs," said course trainer and general manager of the Project Professionals Group (PPG), Kevin Stephens.
"Training sessions are designed to equip attendees with a refreshed approach to project forwarding management and a better understanding of the challenges facing the transportation of today's super-sized plant and equipment."
Course modules include dedicated project logistics case studies, risk management, strategic partnerships, value adding strategic, traffic and logistics functional planning, meeting client expectations, biosecurity, working with brokers, pitfalls of booking notes, and preparing quotations.
