December 29 - Effective January 2017, the 20-year-old container vessel FESCO Nagaevo will join the fleet of FESCO Transportation Group and operate in FESCO's Korsakov Direct Line.
Whilst the ship's full capacity is only 508 teu, it is ice-classed and meets the standards required for operation in the Far East region.
FESCO Nagaevo's holds are equipped with removable rails for containers, which permits the transport of oversized cargo, pulp or timber in batches.
The ship is equipped with a variable pitch propeller and bow thruster, which FESCO says provides high manoeuvrability and allows mooring in areas restricted in size, with a minimum towing support.
