September 16 - Belgian trailer manufacturer Faymonville has delivered its first vehicle to Japan - a six-axle MultiMAX semi low loader.
The trailer was received by Kofu based Fujishiro Motors - which is now acting as Faymonville's agent in Japan - before being delivered to Seishin for its general transportation operations.
The extension of the MultiMAX's loading platform from 11 m to 18.5 m allows the vehicle to carry loads varying in length, while the hydraulic gooseneck enable the trailer to navigate uneven grounds and obstacles en route.
With a technical payload of around 85 tonnes, Faymonville claims that the trailer is proving popular in Japan, with a four-axle model and two two-axle trailers already ordered from the Asian nation.
