February 28 - Super tug Fairmount Alpine has delivered the container vessel Emma Maersk to the Fincantieri repair yard, Palermo, Sicily, Italy.
Netherlands based Fairmount Marine was contracted by Maersk Line to tow the 398 m long 156,907 dwt Emma Maersk container ship from Port Said, Egypt, to the Palermo repair yard, 1,276 m (2053.5 km) away.
The convoy began its journey from the Mediterranean port on February 17 and reached its destination on February 25.
