July 6 - Express Global Logistics (EXG) has handled the unloading and Customs clearance of marine unloading arms at Chennai Port, India.
The consignment was made up of 14 packages, of which four were classed as over-dimensional cargo (ODC), measuring 18.3 m x 3.6 m x 3.35 m each.
For the unloading of the ro-ro cargo, EXG's Chennai team used four 60 ft Mafi trailers and six 40 ft Mafi trailers.
According to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC), of which EXG is a member in India, the Customs clearance was completed within 24 hours of the vessel berthing at the port.
