July 19 - Washington, USA based Port of Everett has named veteran maritime professional Walter Seidl as marketing director.
Six shipping lines regularly call at the gateway, located 25 miles north of Seattle, and it has seen export levels grow by 29 percent over 2011 levels, says Port of Everett. Seidl has been brought on board to work on retaining the current customer mix, as well as attracting new customers to the port.
Seidl has spent the past 27 years of his career in terminal, logistics and vessel operational roles along the west coast of the USA.
