The European association of abnormal road transport and mobile cranes – ESTA – has introduced a library section on its website containing a series detailed briefing documents and reports on current subjects important to the crane and heavy transport industries.
So far, an ESTA briefing on the association’s European Crane Operators Licence (ECOL); the best practice guide on the transport and installation of onshore wind turbine components; a briefing on the European Register of Road Transport Undertakings (ERRU) rules; best practice guide on self-propelled modular transporters; and ICSA Guidance N001 on leaving mobile cranes unattended in partially erected mode are all available for download.
ESTA is currently working on translations of the best practice guides into German, French and Spanish.
