July 26 - EMS-Fehn-Group has expanded its presence in the Balkans with the formation of EMS Shipping & Logistics (EMS SLA) in Croatia.
"We've studied the market in Croatia and the neighbouring countries closely for some time now and see a substantial demand for high quality services in areas where we as EMS-Fehn-Group are especially good in," says EMS-Fehn-Group ceo, Manfred Müller.
EMS SLA will offer the complete portfolio of EMS-Fehn-Group services. "With the know-how and the experience of 20 sister companies behind them our colleagues from EMS SLA will be able to offer a wide range of services," adds Müller.
The Germany-based group's existing activities in the Balkans include port terminal operator EMS Albanian Port Operator, and logistics company German Albanian Logistics Agency (GALA), both based in Albania, as well as EMS German Balkan Logistics in Macedonia.
