October 14 - Donbasstransitservice Ltd has handled a transshipment of beer tanks from a sea vessel onto trucks at Mariupol sea port.
The 32-tonne tanks, which were 25 m long with diameters of 6.2 m, were lifted by two floating cranes with vertical parallel slings onto specialised trucks for transportation to Kharkov, about a 450 km journey from the port.
The fourth gate of the port and part of a wall had to be dismantled to allow the trucks to pass.
Established in 1996, Donbasstransitservice is situated in Mariupol, in the Donbass Region of Ukraine, and specialises in ship management, project forwarding and chartering.
