August 26 - A new partnership agreement has been signed by DHL and the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), which will see the logistics provider organise the shipment of the teams' motor sport materials and equipment to the overseas events.
Four of the races will take place in Europe, with five more across Latin America, North America, Asia and the Middle East.
As part of the contract DHL will be responsible for delivering 33 race cars, three safety cars, one T-car and assorted equipment, as well as 10,000 tyres and 198,000 litres of fuel to the race locations.
