February 1 - LS Cargo International has confirmed reports in the German media that the Dettmer Group has acquired a 50 percent stake in the company.
LS International Cargo, headquartered in Bremen, specialises in global project forwarding with offices in China, Sweden, Finland and the Czech Republic, and has an annual turnover of EUR88 million (USD95 million).
The Dettmer Group, also headquartered in Bremen, comprises various companies in the logistics and waste disposal sector.
HLPFI's understands that the location of LS International Cargo and its management will remain unchanged and it will continue to be a standalone company, but it anticipates that the involvement of the Dettmer Group will strengthen the growth activities of both companies.
