April 12 - Delta Maritime delivered two separator units from the Port of Piraeus, Greece to the client's site in Fier, Albania.
Each separator measured 15.24 m x 3.98 m x 4.16 m and weighed 34.9 tonnes.
The 498.37 cu m shipment arrived on a breakbulk vessel at Piraeus - the delivery was disrupted due to protesting Greek farmers that blocked a number of roads around the port.
Delta Maritime prepared the transit Customs arrangements and arranged an indirect delivery through the port's storage area, once the Greek roads were accessible.
The separators were then trucked to Albania, where two cranes were mobilised to lift and position each separator on their respective foundations.
Delta Maritime is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) representing Greece.
