June 29 - Delta Maritime has delivered five out-of-gauge (OOG) generator sets (gensets) from Piraeus Port, Greece to Fier in Albania for Bankers Petroleum Albania.
The five gensets arrived at Piraeus Port from Houston, USA onboard one of Hapag-Lloyd's container vessels on 40 ft flatracks.
Once at the port, Delta Maritime loaded the cargo on to trailers for delivery to the site in Albania.
In a separate project, Brunel Project Cargo (BPC) has transported a 41-tonne unit from the UK to China.
BPC transported the cargo, which measured 4.3 m x 3 m x 4 m, from the supplier's premises to Port of Felixstowe in the UK, travelling at a maximum speed of 40 mph (64.6 kph).
Upon arrival at the port, the cargo was lashed and secured for onward transportation to China.
Delta Maritime is a member of the Project Cargo Network (PCN) in Greece and Serbia, while BPC is a member in the UK.
