Caiña-Andree, who was born in Spain, is also the Board Member responsible for Human Resources at Schenker AG in Essen, Germany. She succeeds Steffen W. Wurst, who has left the company.
She joined Vossloh, a railroad technology company, as a commercial apprentice in 1982. While working as an assistant to the Executive Board, she earned a degree in business administration and joined the newly-established HR department shortly thereafter. After serving in several management positions, Caiña-Andree became the head of HR and organization in 1999, making her responsible for some 5,000 employees at her company, which had now become Vossloh AG and was listed on the German MDAX stock exchange.
Caiña-Andree joined Deutsche Bahn AG in 2006, where she was responsible for the corporate executives, executive staff development and support unit of the DB Group.
