May 9 - ZAO SCHENKER, DB Schenker Logistics' Russian subsidiary, has recently launched a new business unit in Kaluga.
"Our local presence will make it easier to support the activities of customers in the region," said managing directorAnatoly Gvozdev. "And it will contribute to develop solid relations with potential clients and local investors."
The new branch will offer clients international and domestic land transport including rail forwarding, air and ocean freight, contract logistics and supply chain management, customs clearance and outsized heavy-lift cargo and will be headed by Nadezhda Martynova.
Established in 1992, the network of the Russian subsidiary covers 21 cities nationwide and employs 600 staff.
