June 29 - Darka Group has launched a new non-vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC) service from Port Sudan to Jebel Ali, UAE.
According to Darka, the new service has been established due to the growth of agricultural product exports from Sudan to the Middle East.
"This is a beginning of a large dream to cover the Red Sea, Gulf and East African ports in the near future," said Alaeldin Mohamed Osman, founder and ceo of Darka Group.
The company also plans to add two multipurpose vessels to the route.
Darka for Trading & Services is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) in Sudan.
