October 2 - Dan-Czech Special Transport has coordinated the delivery of press machine units from Hamburg, Germany to Velemyšleves in the Czech Republic.
Due to low water levels on the River Elbe, the cargo, which originated in Spain, was transported to Velemyšleves by road.
The heaviest unit weighed 103 tonnes and had a width of 5.3 m. According to Dan-Czech, this required a longer notice time to obtain the necessary transport permits.
Dan-Czech extended the vehicle combinations using its Goldhofer spacer decks in order to transport the cargoes across bridges in Germany.
According to Dan-Czech, which specialises in the transport of heavy and/or oversized cargo in Europe, other units included parts weighing 84 tonnes and 30 tonnes.
